New to the blog and the Moonbase T in a Circle collection is this fabulous LUXURY YACHT. Acquired from Argentina it's a neat plastic motor boat with the model number 433 (and 432 is shown as well). About 6 inches long it comes in a nicely illustrated window box. The side panels picture the boat's two varieties, with and without a cabin. I don't know, there's just something about T in a Circle (I can hear Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers!)
What, boats again?
ReplyDeleteAnd the bad with boats is? ...
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love seeing them.
Funny word isn't it, Yacht. Should be pronounced Yakt! Why don't we spell it Yot? A Luxury Yot! Perfectly sensible.
ReplyDeleteOr it could go the other way around - a lot of jelly babies would be "a lacht of jelly babies" ^_^
ReplyDeleteBut since when has the spelling of English ever made sense :) I'm sure you are familiar with the George Bernard Shaw "ghoti" spelling of "fish".
It is a rather smart looking toy! As much as I love space toys I certainly wouldn't have minded having a nice yacht in my collection as a boy.
ReplyDeletere - pronunciation: the words "luxury yacht" are actually pronounced "throat-wobbler mangrove".

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Paul!
