SPACE BATTLES

Don't know about you but when I was a kid, once I'd moved on from drawing hammers on the wallpaper, I used to draw loads of space battles in exercise books. Huge dogfights between rockets, missiles and space-stations with puffs of smoke, flames and explosions. I actually found some the other day at my brothers house! He has a drawing book from 1970 full of his and his mates' cool sketches of mods and rockers, soul stars and characters from Creepy, Eerie and Mad. One of his gang, Kev Livesy, was super talented and drew the most memorable pen drawing I've ever seen - a Centurion's head with a huge plumed helmet. Awesome. In between these teenage sensations where my own meagre nine-year old efforts including, yes, you've guessed it, some space battles, my signature doodle! I've photographed them along with the Livesey Centurion but I can't get them off my phone onto the PC! Shucks, back to the drawing board!
