What are You up To?

It's Sunday afternoon here in the UK. Late Spring and it's warm. The missus and I are drinking coffee and eating cake with an elderly friend.

🥮

If it's Sunday still or Sunday gone, what are you doing or what did you do readers?

  2. Been selling at the annual Mothers' Day car boot sale & vintage car show at the Espoo Car Museum. A lively event in full sunshine, the day was an all-around success. Our yearly tradition for a long time but now first time as sellers, prompted by an irrisistible weather forecast for today.

  3. Still Sunday morning in NYC. As it's the US Mother's Day we will be driving up the Hudson Valley to join our daughter for lunch then on to a Triple A baseball game, our Grandson's choice of celebration. Here Mother's Day was created as an occasion for marketing cards, chocolate etc rather than the UK Mothering Sunday that falls into the religious calendar around Lent.

  6. Like on Saturday, I went to Milton Keynes city centre for the Milton Keynes Wargames Society show Campaign.
Didn't play any games like I did on Saturday but enjoyed the layouts and figures

  8. This Sunday gone, I was up early to tune into a new show on the Bridgend Hospital Radio called Epic 80's, presented by Wayne Dunkley. It was great start to a Sunday with two hours of tracks which I'd not heard for ages. Then, me and the Misses popped across to a shop called Dunelm to try and find a small strand for the new Bluetooth Loudspeakers I've acquired. At the moment, we're still looking...

After that we went out for a Sunday Dinner at a Carvery run by some friends of ours. It was delicious; if it wasn't for the fact that our waistlines would expand out of control, we'd be turning up there every Sunday!

From there, we went off for a drive in the car, enjoying the scenery. Sometime after, when we got back, we settled down to some afternoon Telly... The film "Sink the Bizmark", [which I've never seen] then an episode of the US TV series Ghosts, and lastly Start Trek Enterprise, before I turned in for the night.

In-between all that, I get to potter around in my studio doing radio stuff. Yesterday, I was playing around with a remix of "the Safety Dance" by the Men Without Hats.

    1. Now that's a Sunday to be reckoned with Bill. Superb and varied. I have to say the highlight for me would have been the carvery! I love a Sunday dinner!
