I saw this Moonship item on Hakes, a pair of 9.5x15" die-cut store display signs of spring-loaded plastic premium rocket launcher and two plastic Spacemen figures under blisters by Swift's Premium Franks, c. 1963.
You know Paul, I've never had a battered hot dog on a stick here. What a great idea. In the chippies they're called battered jumbo sausages. I only like Franks as hot dogs. The missus cuts them up in lentil soups.
That is cool! and yes, we do eat hot dogs. It's one of our go-to "I don't feel like cooking today' meals. I also cut them up and mix them in with Bush's Baked Beans - beans & franks - good stuff!
Yes. I like American Hot Dogs (as well as British Hot Dogs - a sausage on a stick, dipped in battered, and covered in tomato sauce).

ReplyDeleteOh yes, Franks and beans. I must do that. We can get Beans and mini sausages here Ed, in a can by Heinz. I guess they're mini franks too.
