The 'Battle of Galactica' show closed at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in 1992 (ran from 1979- 92) and the first time I visited was 1995. Didn't see the prop anywhere. We also visited the Florida theme park and though the prop was not there on the backlot tour (they take you through the boneyard of movie vehicles and props) we did see the original Battlestar Galactica 6 foot long filming model on display in a shop window!
