Here's the large Marx Fred on dinosaur crane I used to own (BTW the crane's name was Mildred).
Cosmetically, the toy was in great shape but didn't work, so I sold it off years ago.
This was one of my 'seller's regrets' (one of many).

DeleteStunning Ed, that's the toy I had in mind. An amazing plaything, a work of art really! The box must have been huge!
ReplyDeleteThis was an absolute beauty. There are other Fred-on-crane toys but this one was the cream of the crop.
