Apollo Force Japan

From an old auction, this plastic rocket appears to be a relative of one I have.

Except, among other things,  this one lights up! It may even move?

The battery unit is at the rear.

A really neat design, it's made in Japan.

My own relative is the Apollo Rocket seen here on the far right in 2013 next to my Probe Force 2 and pink Tarheel Nova.

Have you anything like this?

PS.

The three Tarheel Novas in their window boxes.  For more click the Novas label below.

  1. That pink Nova appears to be Thunderbird 3 with boosters and a forward window.

    1. It is Mish. Tarheel released three day-glo Nova rockets in the sixties as part of the Thunderbirds/SWORD/SpaceX thing in the States. The other two are equally colourful.

  2. Wow I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Tarheel Nova up close - best knockoff of Thunderbird 3 I’ve ever seen! SFZ

  3. Terrific line-up Woodsy! While I have all three Nova's, my Nova I & III are missing the canopy's and I have no boxes.
