Another old photo!
Thirteen years ago I re-posted this 1969 image of a giant suspended Captain Lazer, which I borrowed from this great website:
At the time it generated a vibrant and thoughtful debate in MC's comments. Re-reading them it seems to me that the mystery of the image was never really settled.
Has anyone in today's readership any new info or insights into this giant hanging Captain?
My immediate reaction is it's a hung miniature set up with the real toy.

I first saw it 13 years ago Looey. It's allegedly from 1969.
