I'm actually partial to the work-a-day vehicles like the squad car and paddy wagon. You can get a ton of hero and villainmobiles but the average police stuff from Gotham City helps to flesh out a crime scene.
A very nice set. It is unusual among the Hot Wheels 5-packs in that it is linked to one of the Batman movies - The Dark Knight. Most of the 5-packs were generic Batman sets.
Well, they are all Batman, and the various Batmobiles are from actual TV shows, cartoons, movies, video games, etc. There are Gotham City Police vehicles. And most of the villain cars have images of Batman's foes. But I think there have only been a couple - including Ed's set - that were linked to a specific movie, rather than to the Batman universe in general.
Fab bat pack Ed! My fave is the purple Joker rod! So cool!

DeleteVery true Ed.

ReplyDeleteI may pick up more of the 5-packs this year Paul. We'll see how the budget feels in a couple of months.
DeleteI wonder why they're mostly generic? Is that a copyright thing?
