I just found this item on You Tube, which I thought might interest you.
A 23-minute look at the different doll-sized vehicles issued to go with Barbie dolls. Mostly cars, jeeps, and campers, but there is also a helicopter. And not everything is pink. There are even a couple of blue vehicles for Ken.
The host is not too knowledgeable about cars, but there are some interesting vehicles included.
Barbie's first vehicle seems to be a British Austin Healey sports car (I did have to look this one up) - British sports cars being popular in America at the time it came out in the early 1960s.
Then comes a Hot Rod. At 15 minutes in there is a pink talking car. A full collection would clearly take up a lot of space. I will stick with the Hot Wheels versions!
