Lenin's Limo

I saw this die cast car today in an emporium.

Made in the USSR.

Is it called a Zul?

  1. Years ago there was a radio commercial that I think had something to do with car radios. It was a funny commercial and one character with a comic Russian accent wonders if he can get a radio for his "Zlotney 500." Now whenever I think of Soviet cars, that's what I think of.

  3. I thought ordinary Russian Soviet cars were Trebants, but they were only East German Soviet, not Russian Soviet.

    1. Yes, I saw a lot of Trabants when I visited West Berlin in the 1980's and again in the 00's in the former East Mish. Quite a tidy little car, they reminded me of the Lada.
