Christmas decorations and the like have been in the shops for over a month now - well before Halloween, with the two side by side. There is a specialist Christmas decorations shop in the local mall, which opened a couple of weeks ago. In NZ Christmas is October-November-December.
I've always thought Christmas in shops and on TV, should start around the beginning of December. Surely a 3 or 4 week build up is enough ? Sadly, its 2 or 3 MONTHS these days. By the time it arrives, I'm sick of it !
Ideally, Christmas eve, but I'd accept the day before it!

ReplyDeleteYes, here too Paul. All the big supermarkets are vying for top TV Ad already. I used to like TV ads as a kid but they get on my wick now!
