I love browsing the old Spanish sci fi pulp Ciencia Ficcion, there are so many ace lifted covers!
These two use old monster masters!
Vincent graces this one!
Not seen the robot before. You?
And here's Boris! The Bride too! Not sure about the glass case or the thing at the back. You?

The date might not fit, but the thing at the back of the second one looks like a Quark robot from Doctor Who.
ReplyDeleteReally? Makes sense Kev. They used daleks on the covers too!
DeleteAh, that spectacular robot was the invader from Venus in the 1954 Sci-fi classic, Target: Earth! A terrific B-Movie, with a hell of a robot. SFZ
ReplyDeleteGood spot SF! Another film I don't know!
DeleteNot sure that is Vincent Price Woodsy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Walter Pidgeon as Morbius in Forbidden Planet, to me., but with bigger hair.
Just had a look Mish, I see what you mean, yes.
DeleteYou know, I'm looking again at the wild haired Karloff and I've got Christopher Plummer in my mind now!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like Karloff, though that does look like The Bride.
