  5. The only really cool Halloween song, IMHO, is "Monster Motion," Bobby "Boris" Pickett's wild follow-up to "Monster Mash." Pulled off AM radio even as it headed to the top of the charts, due to suggestive lyrics, it is ten times the song that "Monster Mash" is. Shoulda been a Monster Hit! (Actually, Zacherle's "Dinner With Drac" is a decent runner-up, especially Part 2, which has the more gruesome lyrics.) SFZ

    1. PS: Oh my god, I forgot all about "Monster Mash Party," the B-side of the "Monster Mash" 45! An incredible, surreal piece of early 60s strangeness. I played MMP to death on my little record player. Amazing something that occult got snuck into early 60s kiddie culture! SFZ
