I wouldn't take it to Titan but I'd have it the day before I left.
A blast from the past, Mr. Brain's Pork Faggots, found in the frozen aisle at Farm foods! They'd been there fifty years! Ha ha!
Bread and butter, Yorkshire tea and three hot faggots with gravy.
Nostalgia never tasted so good!
How does it look? Were and are you a fan?
Bread and butter ?
ReplyDeleteMashed potatoes and peas, surely ?!
I was cooking for one Mish. I like things simple and I really love bread and butter! Ha ha
DeleteCan you use that word today? Pork!
ReplyDeleteI like Pork.
DeleteI would say the closest thing I have eaten is called "Salisbury Steak" here in the States, and it's made with beef instead of pork.
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious.
DeleteMy Mother always called Salisbury steak a glorified hamburger.
ReplyDeleteMmm. Sounds even better.
DeleteThat's what it is,a hamburger patty with onion gravy
ReplyDeleteThere's tinned hamburgers in onion gravy here in Blighty Brian. Really soft and scrumptious. Perfect for camping cooking too.
DeleteAh, Westler's tinned hamburgers in gravy.
ReplyDeleteThey were an exotic alternative to Birds Eye beefburgers for me, as a kid.
Westlers! Yes, that's them Mish!
