Coming back from holiday, and spending time splashing about in the Mediterranean, I'm going through a bit of a Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea fix at the moment.
I know I've posted these photos of my Seaview builds before, but I'm missing the sea views!

ReplyDeleteMy wife has a bit of a Voyage fix too. She was never a fan of the show, but she loves the music. Especially Paul Sawtell's extended closing theme. Such a romantic swelling melody!
I sometimes hear a screeching noise coming from her studio which my ruined hearing almost identifies as Frankie Avalon, singing the vocal theme from the Walter Pigeon movie soundtrack!

DeletePaul Sawtell's Voyage main title theme really does conjour up images of the murky depths, complete if I'm not mistaken with the hint of a sonar ping! Thank goodness Irwin Allen decided against using the Russell Faith penned film title song!
