I seem to remember having a SPACE ANGEL comic book...?
Alex Toth was a superb artist.
Out of interest, what did you use as the base for the figures' bodies?
I just had a look at your previous posts, and I'd love to see some good shots of the individual figures you posted in the group shot in December 2020 -- especially the INVADERS and LAND OF THE GIANTS figures.
They look magnificent -- the costumes of the old movie serial figures are exceptional!
Thank you! appreciate the complements. I enjoy making A lot of these early sci-fi personalities from television, film, and print. I've have/had great seamstresses to help create the unique costumes. I also have a couple 3d designers that are wizards in creating the accessories such as space suit gear, ray guns, etc. to be 3d printed. When I first started doing this type of side line work (outside my pre retirement job) 20 years ago. I had to make all my accessories by hand ( sculpting, resin cast/vaccum form, etc.), from scratch. 3d printing has helped that tremendously. I still have many more subjects I hope to create. 😀
ive never heard if SA before now, but those custom figures are amazing Bob. Great work! Bill
