No Hurry at Harrisons

A visit to Harrison's emporium in Rotherham is always fun. Vast halls of Old toys, vintage furniture and sausage butties in the cafe. What's not to like!

Here's a few snaps of a recent trip so you can enjoy it too.

Stunning - that cabinet with all the shallow drawers - ideal for die-casts ? But 595 pounds is out of my league.

    1. I know, it looked amazing in the shop Paul and I thought of cars straight away.

  2. looks like the place you go for a browse, but not to buy. The prices seem to be based on popularity of the items, rather than reality!

    1. I spent a tenner, a bubble bath Dalek and a C21 annual. There is the odd bargain to be had there.

  5. My mouth is watering at that illuminated cabinet, full of die cast cars, just as a display!
I saw a boxed Vosper toy boat in Brighton on my last visit and that took me back to the 60's. I considered getting it then, but I thought it was too drab. I think it was much more reasonably priced than this example at £65!
    Those wall mounted bagatelle machines
are lovely, but I'll just have to make do with my Space Battleship Yamato Pachinko machine, which sits pride of place in my home cinema!

    1. The cabinet was fab Looey. My mate bought the red MG in there, cos he had one as a young man. I love the Visper Yacht and often think of getting one, so sleek and it's Thunderbirds chips just add to the allure!
