Ed's Banks

Woodsy,

Here's some of the banks in my collection. A couple you've already seen, a couple you haven't:

The Astro Mfg Guided Missile Bank (I had one of these as a kid - but in a matte finish)
Fosta Plastic Space Ship Bank
Ertl #F004 Diecast Hershey's 1932 Northrop Gamma Plane - Bank
Ertl No. GC-5041 Diecast Miller Genuine Draft Truck Bank

I think there's a couple more out in The Cave that I haven't gotten around to photographing yet.

  1. As a kid, I had that first rocket bank in gold tone.

Chocolate and aeroplanes - a great combination. But all those banks are beautiful.

    1. Thanx Paul! Ertl made a gazillion die-cast banks but I only have a couple. Generally speaking I prefer non-bank vehicles but I will pick up the stray bank or two.

  4. Beautiful banks Ed! I love the yellow rocket ship. Transport and banks just go together, altho' I don't care for the taste of Herscheys chocolate!

    1. Thanx Woodsy! hahaha yeah, the traditional Hershey's chocolate bar doesn't set well with the European palate. It's something we're used to of course, but hey, in all fairness, Hershey's does make Reese's Peanut Butter cups and those are a world-wide fav.
