Its not new to me Woodsy, as this was the one I had as a kid. I was always a bit dissappointed with the shape of it really, because although the main body of the gun is sort of phaser like, the barrel and grip are way out and too Flash Gordon. It did have a powerful firing mechanism though, so the darts went 'miles' when you fired them.
When I don't have the dinero or the room for toys, I save photos from the Internet. I've been adding a bunch of Star Trek toys to my electronic collection of late.

Very nice. I saw a box less one on eBay not long ago , myself, Terra. I was tempted.
