Aurora box top artist Morton (Mort) Kunstler has passed away this month.
28 August 1927 to 2 February 2025 – age 97.
Apart from his work for Aurora, he later became famous for his Western and American Civil War paintings.
His Aurora work included several aircraft, and the two Man From U.N.C.L.E. figure kits.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed his work. I remember seeing a painting of what looked like a Victor bomber, making a low level run on the houses of parliament...
