Way back in December, 1966, just in time for Christmas, the Daily Mail began serialising the 'Thunderbirds Are Go!' film in a small strip. Artwork was by the great Don Lawrence. Here it is in its entirety.
Hi Mish, the strip comes from a digital archive, so the scans are pretty low res. Not easy on the eye, so I tinted them a Zero X blue to make it a bit easier to see and less obvious where they came from!
I have never seen that before, that's incredible !
ReplyDeleteThe strip is Fab, but as the Daily Mail was printed in black on white paper, why is the strip in blue ?

DeleteHang on, they've missed out Cliff Richard Junior in this! :)
ReplyDeleteThank god! If it was up to me, Cliff would be right out the airlock!
DeleteFair enough Wote.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful trip back in time - thanks for sharing! What a moment that was! SFZ
