SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM

here is one of Kevin Davies largest builds to dat, a scale replica of the 'Slave' computer from onboard the Scorpio starship in Series 4. Kev reports that the main body is a barrel - the same type as used by the BBC!
Interestingly, when looking at Slave on the net, I came across a couple of sites where he gets a mention:

    It was that site showing the acorn system 1 that gave me the dimensions I needed to work out how big the whole thing was. I started out just building that one piece and just didn't stop until I'd filled the space available to me.

    By the way, it's not a scale model, it's full size (albeit with only a small section of the base constructed).

      Thanks, yep, he was well meaning, was Slave. Sadly met his demise shortly after Scorpio broke up after crashing (in fairness to its pilot and Slave, it was shot down!).
