A look at the diminutive Revell 1977 kit catalogue. Pocket sized at just six inches high, it re-uses some classic box art alongside shots of the actual kits and photographs of the real vehicle. Its padded out with splash pages with line drawings, showing a reduced, but diverse range of kits, much changed from Revells sixties glory days.
Another great catalogue. Thanks. It is interesting to compare the US and British Revell lines.
ReplyDeleteWow, another great catalogue from the golden age! I forgot more of these kits than I care to remember. What an amazing time that was, and they were all affordable, unlike the expensive and over-detailed "new wave" kits of today. That's why i will always prefer shopping ebay for vintage kits rather than buying new ones - with the exception of Atlantis Models, my favorite retro model rebooter! SFZ
