Not the usual, it may be of interest to some Moonbase readers. My Father's, this is one of the Triang Minic super sets from the mid-1960s. The vehicles are plastic with friction motors.
A fabulous set - something ive never seen in the flesh, only in my dads old catalogues. Theres every kind of service vehicle in there, all youd need would be your own hangar and runway! Brilliant - I wonder if they did a space set with a rocket and transporter? Bill
Found it - its the missiles used in the Triang Battlespace series! https://www.vectis.co.uk/841-lot-810785-triang-minic-push-go-interplanetary-presentation-set#gallery
Triang toys have such a fond place in my childhood! These puppies are a little before my time, but I love the 50's style graphics on the package. A few years on from this and a young me was gazing in awe at some Triang Toys in Woolworths, labelled SpaceX!
Those little planes look kinda familiar to this Yank...
ReplyDeleteI think they are DH108 DeHavilland Swallows.
DeleteThey certainly are of interest. That is a wonderful set. Hours of fun for anyone lucky enough to have it.
