THREE SATURNS: BLOG ROCKETS

I've always loved the Saturn V and its crawler. Housed in the biggest building in the world at the time, the VAB, its a NASA rocket that commands respect.

Three contemporary Saturn V's and crawler plastic toys spring to mind, one of which, the Cape Kennedy Set, I had as a kid.

See what you think. Did you have a Saturn V?

  1. Do like a Saturn V. I've got the Sword one, the Spacex one, a small Dragon one, plus my Spacex scratchbuild and a large Saturn V that I scratchbuilt from an old drainpipe!

  2. The Saturn is not a favorite rocket design for me, but it sure looks good in toy form! First of all, anything but white! SFZ

  3. I always loved pretty much anything related to Cape Canaveral/Cape Kennedy. I have a couple or original Marx and Modern Marx playsets and of course several of the small Tri-ang (and clone) versions of it). I used to have a nicely done handmade metal launch tower and rocket but sold it off a couple of years ago.
