Thanks Woodsy. Although I've previously posted these photos I've noted they always get a large number of views. The P.E. Mobiles still seem to be popular with collectors , even the earlier over- weathered versions.
Lovely staging! You've replicated the look of Derek Meddings woodland settings perfectly. I never got a PE Mobile because the factory applied weathering was so horribly overdone! Ditto their SPV!
Thanks Lewis.Yes, plenty of people complained about the sloppy weathering on the early versions. I can remember being terribly disappointed when I bought a Mobile Control version. Thankfully, P.E. did re-release them all with much less weathering . The SPV suffered from the same problem, resulting in poor sales, and halting any further Captain Scarlet vehicle releases.
