I was just looking through a carton of baseball cards collected for/by my daughter in 1993.
It has a number of odd cards from different unrelated sets such as The Avengers (Steed & Mrs Peel), MAD, Olympic Sports etc. One incomplete set was of the Disney movie THE ROCKETEER.
There are three doubles, cards 27, 71 & 77
If any blog reader needs them I'll happily send them on.

Ive never seen the Rocketeer Terran. Is it a good film for say an 8 year old boy?

DeleteThe film is a real nice one but could be a little bit frightening for an 8 year old child in some scenes, I suppose. I still like it very much at least because a flying replica of a GeeBee is part of it, too.

DeleteSorry, I thought you know the GeeBees already. The GeeBees are (most of all) racing aeroplanes built by the Granville Brothers Airplanes factory in the 1930s. On the Wikipedia site you can get some impressions how they look like. The yellow/black no. 4 is taking part in the Rocketeer movie.

Fascinating Bigopp. I've been educated. Can't believe only two of their planes still exist. Now that's rare!
DeleteJr. will probably enjoy the movie as long as you watch with him incase the climax is too intense for him. Then again if he has been watching any violent animations on line he will take the movie in it's stride. You will enjoy it if only for the delightful performance of Alan Arkin. The special effects were good and it's a nice interpretation of the comic book original story.
