Here's obscure: the Kaplan, leader of the Astrans from the TV21 Fireball XL5 comics!

Thanks. He's just a plastic tube with an old toy Dalek hemisphere on top. His little hovercraft is an old torch reflector with some plastic strips on it.
The first photo seems to be showing the Kaplan leaving an ice cream parlour?
He's collecting the Zoom lolly cards.

Thanks. He's stood on a little, transparent sewing bobbin, which is then photoshopped out.
I loved that strip, the Astrans were such a simple design, but curiously effective! Its a neat little model Kev! Bill
