Not as many as in the past (of course), but there are more here in Los Angeles than anywhere else I've seen. (A) They do well in this weather (little rain, no snow or ice, no salt on the roads), (B) They use them in movies, and (C) Stars and the wealthy in the entertainment industry sometimes like them.
As has been discussed before on Moonbase, that distinctive Pontiac "beak" is also shared by Captain Scarlet's Spectrum Patrol Car. This has lead to some speculation that it might share styling DNA with the custom Monkeemobile Pontiac GTO. Maybe someone might ask Mike Trim?
Nah brother. I think this one is a Pontiac. That silver "radiator" beak in the front was kind of their hallmark.

DeleteIt is close. The firebird was Pontiac's version of the Camaro. Same body with different trim and engine choices.
