12" action figures have made a come back and there are now multiple brands covering anything from WWII to Star Wars and Super Hero's. As well, there's a guy on one of my fb groups that sculpts heads (mostly Old West that I remember).
The figure's a vintage G I Joe sculped to have European features and no battle scar, Woodsy. It's a variation which usually came with Hasbro's popular Soldiers of the World line, which Ed mentioned above. Beautifully packaged they were an instant hit with the kids until Hasbro moved away from the military and channelled its production into the Adventure Team.

DeletePalitoy didn't use this head sculpt for their Action Man line, which I feel makes it a welcome addition for the vintage Action Man collection, Woodsy.
