Quick, Zip it Up!

A right blast from the past here tonight on the MoonBase. Camping in the garden! It's a terrific new experience for the Grandkids, we hope!

I think it's the early 1970's since I last camped in a garden, back at my parent's house where I grew up in Preston.

Have you camped in the garden readers?

  1. Plenty of camping, especially in the Lake District, but never in our back garden, as we lived in a block of flats and didn't have one.

    1. The Lakes were and are great Mish yes. I used to camp with mates in Great Langdale and sit outside the Old Dungeon Ghyll playing my guitar, circa 1978. Are your old flats still there?

  2. A perfect way to spend a Mid Summer night!Reminds me of the camp fire nights I used to have with my grand daughter. We would roast hot dogs and S'mores.I would also float a light show in the pool so she and her friends could swim in the water surrounded by all the flashing lights

    1. Sounds idyllic Brian. I only recently found out that S'mores are roasted marshmallows. Is that right?
