That's an unusual design. We had water pistols that looked like ray guns that I liked as a kid (as well as the ones that looked like Luger's). It seemed we were always getting new water pistols because they would break so darn easily - heaven forbid you should drop it on the pavement because there went your gun! Fortunately they were cheap and were readily available (at least for us - there was a supermarket and a drug store just across the street from our house, both of which carried toys).
Yep, its amazing how many shops stocked toys that weren't actual toy shops! Everyone had a little rack of goodies for us kids! Post Offices, Newsagents, even Petrol Stations!
Those are charming
ReplyDeleteThey are.

ReplyDeleteGlad u agree Paul.
DeleteBeautiful! Never saw anything as cool in the US. SFZ
ReplyDeleteThe Stingray water pistol design doesn't work, but, oddly, this rocketship gun design does.
