Years ago I posted this page from a 1986 Tai Hing Catalogue.
Spotting this Number 38 Yellow Submarine, posted yesterday, its fairly clear that its the one pictured in the catalogue bottom centre.
The clincher is the TH seal logo.
Having posted this I'm now wondering if the Tai Hing [or T in a Circle as we called it] we know and love from old is a completely different company from this Tai Hing in 1986?
and who are Unimax?
I think its fun to see that they were still selling this cute Yellow Sub almost 20 years after its original release, assuming it came out about the same time as the Beatles movie. If you had a popular toy, you kept it in the catalog for years - Midori offered their Stingray Mechanical Fish model for at least a decade! SFZ
