PROTECT AND SURVIVE MONTHLY SPACE FERRY COVER

I adore this magazine cover from 1981. Smack in the cold war it's got that ace space station and the super cool space shuttle, that's so reminiscent of the Nuclear Ferry front taxi.

Can you read the artist's name?

Do you like it?

  1. Looks like it says Ken(?) Baxendale as the artist. The ferry looks like an ice lolly.

    1. It does look like those Sky Ray ads doesn't it Kev. Can't find anything else by Ken Baxendale. He's a great illustrator judging by this cover.

  2. Now that is a classic illustration! Love the fact that the artist used nice primary colors for the nuclear ferry - no boring “realistic” silver or white! SFZ

    1. All fascinating stuff. Elon Musk really does appear to be Tony Stark in the flesh. He's everywhere!
