153 The ship behind the NF2 is a bandai Treehawk, minus its rear wing. From Terrahawks.
ReplyDeleteHey ta Kev! Well spotted. One down!
DeleteSorry, its Hawkwing, wrong ship.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kev.
Delete117. Luke in bacta tank in Micro Machines Luke Skywalker / Hoth playset.
ReplyDeleteFab Arto! Well done!
Delete3. What little we know is almost at the end of the page here:

I won't hope for much more...
Best -- Paul
Thanks Paul, very informative. I'm hoping someone may know where the Hypersonics footage went. It appeared briefly online, on footage locker I think, and then vanished. I understand that the actual plane featured on it.
Delete16. Long discussion here
ReplyDeletehttps://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2023/12/the-barrett-spacemaster.html?m=1
Thanks Arto, a blog legend. I'm hoping for new info and lo and behold there's a new comment on the original post!
Delete29/30 is the Marui Cosmo Fleet Missile boat model kit.
ReplyDeleteFab Yorkie, thanks mate! I had to look that up. Here's Scalemate's entry. Fascinating https://www.scalemates.com/kits/marui-mt-78-s2-cosmo-warp--1202058
Delete4. Is a study for a hypersonic lifting body project by Lockheed: https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/us-lifting-bodies-studies-start-asset-prime-fdl-x-24-etc.722/
ReplyDeleteBill
Fascinating and thanks for the link Bill. From way back in 2007! Its older than the blog! I'm sure Ive seen it before but its great to see again. Any idea where the Hypersonics footage went?
DeleteIve tried to find it countless times, but its gone again. I keep seeing prototype designs very similar to the FDL model, but never quite the right combination of swing wing and dual tail fins. Bill
DeleteIf you look about halfway down theres an image of the Lockheeds CL-651 which more or less matches the toy configuration and a couple of entries below is another design with the project name 'Martin Scout' which presumably influenced C21s choice of model brand too! Bill
Delete50. Captain Power 'Soaron Sky Sentry by Mattel' Bill
ReplyDeleteFab Bill, never knew that. Ta.
Delete78. motor drive wheels for an unrelated toy. No connection with Spacex. Bill
ReplyDeleteStrange isn't it.
DeleteThe white helmet 83 is part of the Gumby astronaut set.
ReplyDelete101 is the GI Joe astronaut propellant gun.
113 are the front cockpit modules from the micronaut battlecruiser toy.
49 is Soaron from the Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future toy line.
Thanks Lance, great stuff!
DeleteI was thinking of Gumby too! Glad I read the comments before Googling it!
Delete161. Don't know. Toys are from 1966 when the episode was made, but the character is actually Straker from the Thunderbirds episode 'Give or take a million' rather than Jeff Tracy. I'll get my coat :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Thanks Yorkie! Glad you've had your coffee!
Delete94. A candy filled lunar module, unbranded. Ive got a blue version on the blog somewhere! Bill
ReplyDeleteReally! Sweets in it! How cool. Ta Bill.
Delete113. Mego Micronauts Galactic Cruiser cockpits Bill
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, thanks mate.
Delete130. The three larger toys named 'Defender' and others were issued by Tandy and other makes in the late 80's. Scaled to fit star wars action figures, the package shows a Tie Fighter pilot in situ. Battery powered, with walking/rolling action. Bill
ReplyDeleteNever seen these in the flesh ever. Thanks Bill.
DeleteThe little horse toys next to them are a Zoids derivative, with a mechanical clockwork robot horse and rider. Probably Silverlit or similar. Bill
DeleteFascinating!
Delete70 air tanks are from the Big Jim scuba set
ReplyDeleteEagle eyed Lance! Thanks!
Delete142. looks like a cheap copy of the revised Battlestar Galactica Viper from the recent tv series Bill
ReplyDeleteBG eh! Good spot Bill. It looks old to me though.
DeleteWe have i'd it before: https://toysfromthepast.blogspot.com/2013/06/ bill
Delete145. Four Feather Falls doll? Bill
ReplyDeleteGood idea. I don't know much about FFF. I couldn't see this one on a Pelham website http://www.pelhampuppets.uk.com/ There may well be more FFF Pelhams that aren't here.
Delete158. Yes!
ReplyDeleteWell done!
Delete161. Thats not Jeff Tracy, but the vintage car on the left is possibly Marx - maybe one of the Disney variants. Bill
ReplyDeleteAh, Yorkie told me about it not being Jeff. I should have gone to Specsavers. A Marx car eh! Interesting.
DeleteLooks like the Marx Studebaker toy: https://boonsartshop.com/product/disney-friction-toy-pluto-1910-studebaker-car-1960s-marx/ Bill
DeleteGood call Bill.
Delete122. Popy die cast Eagle toy: https://catacombs.space1999.net/main/merc/vmmeagle2.html Bill
ReplyDeleteGood spot Bill, another toy Ive never seen.
Delete7. Quisp cereal premium 'Moon Walker' 1960 Bill
ReplyDeleteQuisp eh! Great stuff, ta.
Delete166. I'm inclined to say the art is influenced by a combination of a Star Wars Y-Wing bomber and the Klaus Buergle nuclear ferry derivative here: https://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2010/03/back-to-future-with-german-space-artist.html Bill
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean, yes.
Delete101 is the propellant pack from an Action Man astronaut. It's missing a connecting tube and a balancing bar with thruster nozzles.
ReplyDeleteFine work.
Delete89. Top row - Marui Science Rescue Party 0 Fighter 5 , Marui 0 fighter 6, Aoshima Thunder Captain. The red jet eludes me.
ReplyDeleteBottom row. , Doyusha Captain X, Midori Moguras (several versions produced, can't tell which one)
You da man Yorkie!
Delete166.Surely its the good old battlestar Galactica, with add-on bits. Similarly, soneone has taken liberties with 170. Space 1999s season 1 Paul Morrow (armed with ufo's ed strakers gun), and season 2's Maya.
ReplyDeleteToo many magic mushrooms while watching space 1999 compilation 'films' / bsg.
Ah, a 1999 UFO mash up eh! Fab.
DeleteYou've already ID'd 12 and 13 as something called a Captain Scarlet Mystery Ship by Noppin, but the design looks a hell of a lot like the old Midori Super Arrow Oribital Ship from 1966 - I wonder if they borrowed the basic design? Or just coincidence? I'll send a few pix of Super Arrow for your thoughts. SFZ
ReplyDeleteNoppin is the auction site SF. You'll be bang on with your Super Arrow ID. Pics welcomed! Ta!
Delete39-41 Mattel's Big Jim with damaged arm, home added mustache and what appears to be Mego's Hulk pants or Matchbox Fighting Furies pants.
ReplyDeleteSo cool that ID Lance. Thanks a bunch.
