Miniaturisation is a difficult thing but I think the Japanese have it nailed.
These old Glico toys are perfectly formed works of art.

Yes indeed! They have simplified complicated designs down to their rudimentary basic shapes, and still managed to make the toys fun and somewhat streamlined. Also very stylized, which I always like in a toy. That Zero-X is too cool for words! SFZ
