I've had fun re-jigging this old Johnny Lightning E-Type.
Wotan gave it me ages ago. It was taken down to the metal and was tyreless.
I opted for metallic purple .....
.... strapped on some wheels and let it go.
Your resurrected die-cast snaps are getting spooky-good. I'm envisioning a coffee table book of all of your toy car die-restorations....

I recently found that Matchbox race transporter at a thrift shop for 50 cents.
It's a great transporter. Did yours have the plastic back canopy? Mines missing.
No canopy but the rest of it is intact and the paint is good. I think it looks good without it.
Yes, the canopy is a strange brown. I know what you mean without it.
For the price I can't complain.
