REDLINE RENDEZVOUS

I got my three newly restored redlines together and took a few snaps.

I may look around for materials for windscreen and bubble to finish two of them off completely.

    1. Its an old single plastic train station building from West Germany Mish. My Missus got it at a car boot sale over there and brought it back.

  2. Cool pix, and love the background building! If I had to guess, it’s an HO scale model railroad structure, maybe German? Anyhoo, very “Captain Scarlet” as Mish noted. SFZ

    2. I’d know that style anywhere! The only question is brand: Faller, Kibri, Vollmer are my top three guesses. Is there a stamp on the bottom perhaps? Anyways, a beauty! SFZ

Great die-cast restorations. Now we need a detailed look at that building. What is it, who made it, and where did you get it ? Did it come with any dead spiders ?

    1. ha ha, the plastic model station has been in the attic for years. I used it last year outside for my Marx Police Car shots. Its currently on top of my die-cast cars cabinet gathering dust and cobwebs again!

  4. Go the windscreens Woodsy! They really will be the finishing touch on a nice set of restorations. You can find suitable clear plastic sheet on modern packaging...

Just realised that in red gold and green they have the colours of Jamaica so perhaps an island setting next? :)
