TERRANOVA47's C-119 CARRIER

In reply to all those beautiful tin plate aeroplanes from Ed, here's my small eccentric tin plate plane made by MTU in Korea that I've owned it since about 1988.

It's small and as far as I know completely fictitious.

    The Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar is a real aircraft. The US Navy and Marine Corps also used the type under the Navy designation R4Q, which explains that odd set of letters on the engine booms. But there were no passenger seats in the booms, only in the central fuselage. Still a fun little toy.

    Thank you all for identifying the source aircraft. It was purchased before internet searches and it didn't even occur to me to check on it before sending pictures to Woodsy.
    It looks like a cartoon version and runs in a circle with it's props turning far removed from reality.
