I didn't get anything Paul. Prices were way too high and there weren't that many old toys anyway. Mostly new stuff. Comic Con is more of a cosplay event, which I'm glad I've seen but I doubt I'll go again.
I went to one in Chester a few years ago. It was local or I wouldn't have bothered. There were a few things for sale from the era I'm more interested in (60's and 70's), but I had to dig through stuff a bit. Prices were very reasonable actually though.
Glad you had a good day. What treasures did you add to the collection ?

DeleteThose Starcom toys were on average £50 to £80 each!

ReplyDeleteA local one might be better Kev, especially for Junior, who was overwhelmed at the NEC. It was so packed it was untrue!
DeleteMy fave items seen at this event were original bagged Billiken Kaiju figures, on average £150 each.
ReplyDeleteFun pics of a fab day. The best way to spend a weekend, with family and people who relate to the things with enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHear hear Tone!
DeleteLooked like fun Woodsy. I like looking at the photos on-line of various Cons but have no desire to go.
