Sadly, no. But we visited a relative yesterday, and he has trains, trains, trains, running all over the house! An amazing collection. "O" gauge running around the perimeter of the living room, near the ceiling! "HO" scale skirting the edges of the basement! "G" gauge chugging along in the outside garden! Did my heart good to see somebody really keeping that glorious hobby alive.
Since having a permanent layout, SILVER KING my Hornby Dublo 3 rail A4 locomotive gets to run every Xmas as a reminder that he was a gift in 1954 and as per my Mum's wishes I did look after my trains. Still runs as new, photos on the way.
No. But I did buy a Graham Farish train set for my eldest one Christmas. We still have it.
