Some photos of The Reactor custom car, created by Gene Winfield, and which made several TV appearances in the sixties, most notably the Star Trek episode, Bread and Circuses.
William Shatner dressed as Captain Kirk also appeared in several publicity photos.
Other notable TV appearances for The Reactor were TV's Batman, redressed as Catwoman's, Kittycar and an episode of Bewitched.
A great looking car that, the epitome of the space-age on the road. Will Shatner looks really at home in it! I wonder of Hot Wheels or Johnny Lightning ever fancied issuing it?
Apart from Eaglemoss doing the Kittycar, I don't know of any other die-cast example, Woodsy. Johnny Lightning would be favourite in my opinion, I wonder if they've ever considered doing one.
