TRIDENT STARFIGHTER: MISSILE CRISIS!

This summer Kevin very kindly gave me an old Trident Starfighter.

I've blogged my re-colouring/ tidying up up earlier this July. The final addition this August was an original missile kindly donated by Bill, as were two more of the same.

I've read that the wing missiles were dummies, but the two originals won't fit. I'm loather to snap the ends off the missiles so does anyone have any ideas of how to get them in?

  1. Just leave them out as spares.

Now, you may have noticed that Pilot pen inserts have this multi-disk Dr. Shrinker deal that looks like a ray gun. Elmer type water glue them in place.

  2. The wing tip missiles are about an inch long and terminate in a T shape end, to hold them in. I did have some spares, but couldn't find them. I think the best bet might be to fashion a couple of dummies out of some orange plastic. I think one of the ones I gave you was snapped anyway, so its no great hardship to cut it down. Bill

    1. Ta Bill. I may do that. Oddly enough some Dinky Terrahawks vehicles' orange missiles are similar and short.

  3. The wingtip missile need to be shorter than the central one, I would think.
