Just sat on the Rhein Herne Kanal eating schnitzel and croquettes. The view is great what with fifty foot long industrial barges idling past every half hour. Complete with the owners' cars on top, they look amazing.
Do you have barges near you? Anyone got a toy barge?
Oh and little dingies with umbrellas!
Oh, those German serving sizes! When i visited with my Dad in the late 70s, I was amazed at how big the plates were.

Yes Mish, I'm An escalope fan for sure! Oddly these were called Krustiens on account if a thicker breadcrumb crust. I used to listen to them in the 80's, The Krustiens! Ha ha
