Mountain of Doom Short Thunderbird 2 Movie

Having been a proper film bodger about 15 years ago using toys as props in the garden I love simple home made movies that flow well and capture the moment.

Here's a TB2 one from You Tube I've not seen until today, sodorsNWRsteam's Mountain of Doom.

I love it. You?

I have just watched the video. Excellent work, it really captures the look and feel of the original series.

    1. I agree, a simple but magical film Paul, yes.

  2. Yes, that really brings back the vibe of our “teenage filmmaker” years. I should find a way of sending you a file of my “Invader from Mystery Mountain,” a 1970 adventure shot on 8mm film, and featuring a few of the Japanese SF models I had back then. Fun times. SFZ

    1. Yes, sounds ace. No idea how you would digitize it. Slowly video it with your phone, filming it as you go along or down the 8mm film hung on a window for light?

  3. That certainly has a charm all it's own.
It reminds me of my pen-pal "Space Captain" Greg Martin who built his own Thunderbirds style miniatures and was just starting to make movies of them in his retirement, when he was tragically taken by cancer.
