ED'S PATROL CAR

Woodsy,

Growing up in the '50s & '60s, I remember having a Japanese tin-litho police car very similar to this. My recollection is that the dome light was more rounded though. Back then, tin-litho toys were budget friendly. Today, they're budget busters. Enjoy!

That is a really nice car. A Ford Galaxie according to the name on the side.

  2. Lovely example of vintage tin plate. I really appreciate the imaginative function and vivid litho art of these old gems.

  3. Great example of a “golden age” tin toy! And I definitely had one or more with that battery-operated “remote control.” Early 1960s - what a time! SFZ

  4. I love tin cars like this. The Japanese were masters of tin work. A beautiful piece of art really.
