SWINGIN'

It all reminds me of my Project SWORD Scout 2 with its swing wings. Did you/ Have you got a Scout 2 or a swing wing toy plane?


There's an old 60's Lockheed research film called Hypsersonics, which apparently featured the plane which inspired SCOUT 2, but the film is lost. There was a hint of it online years ago but no sign of it now.  Have you ever seen it?

    Got Scouts 1 and 2 but still haven't tracked down a Scout 3!

    The Swing-Wing concept was sublime, leading of course to our beloved Thunderbird 1, a vehicle that still gives me great joy even after all these years. SFZ
