MY DAYLIGHT ATTACK BY RONIN

My Samurai'd home movie made in lockdown 2020.
Great fun to do and shown on MC before.
Hope you like this re-spin.

Have you made a short like this?

What did you do in your lockdown?

No videos I am afraid. A bit beyond me.
I was only struck at home for the first five weeks, before being allowed back to work, although most people in NZ were still in full lock-down. Got a bit of modelling done, but most not completed by the time I was back at work.

    1. Schools were shut so I had to stay at home. Strangely enough the first lockdown Spring and summer 2020 was a peaceful, restful but strange break, which had a big impression on me. I know it wasn't good for everyone at all and things got worse for mostly everyone. This video came from the fine weather at the very start of the Spring Lockdown 2020 when Boris came on the telly and told us 'You Must stay at Home!' the afternoon of Match 18th I think.

  2. My wife and I were pretty fortunate:

I'm an "essential worker" and my wife is a farmer. (It's not like you can not feed animals for weeks on end.)

We just kept on pretty much as normal, and kept drawing our comic strips.

    1. ha ha, love those links Scott. I read your earliest Forum post asking folks about bat feet! ha ha, so many great replies about how to draw them! And carry on is wonderful. I loved the Hyena's Nobody Does it better! Carly Simon is one of my fave singers! Great stuff, yes creative is good, deffo!

  3. I think that's a very clever short film, you certainly captured the right atmosphere there. And I liked the production values.

During lockdown I was needed to do some essential worker stuff. So I didn't get to do as much creative material as I would have liked.
