WILL O GAUGE HORNBY

Hi Woodsy. Interesting to see the Hornby museum. Didn’t know it existed. Here’s a few pics of my Hornby O Gauge layout.

  3. A lovely layout. Ive always liked trains, but im a latecomer to tinplate. However I can see the appeal of these fantastic toys.

  4. That's a terrific layout, nice to have the room for it! Great to see that the Tri-ang Minic range of clockwork tinplate has a home.

  5. Excellent layout Will! Do you run electric and clockwork? I have a Hornby micro layout for what few clockwork pieces I have

  6. Hi Ed and Bettina. The layout is mainly 20 volt electric 3 rail, but I do run clockwork too. One winding will get a typical hornby royal Scot around twice... less when pulling coaches ! The layout size is about 25 by 15 feet. Enough for a descent run.

    1. Will, do you have YouTube channel or are you in any facebook groups? I'll send Woodsy a photo of my micro-layout. There's no room out in The Cave for a larger layout - there's three layouts out there as it is.

  9. Very nice! We don't see much Hornby O here in the US, which is a shame as it's beautiful stuff.
